Heather Ellicott - 200 Hour YTT certified yoga teacher

I have been a student of yoga on and off for nearly 20 years. I am never away from practicing for too long as I am always drawn back to the feeling of calm, centeredness, and peace I get from both the breathwork, community and physical practice of yoga. I am an avid cyclist and yoga helps with cranky tight hamstrings, hips and shoulders. I have high energy in life and in my sports of cycling and roller derby. I appreciate the various forms of yoga, but have discovered that for me, teaching a more gentle vinyasa class is where I feel most aligned. I am most at peace when surrounded by nature, especially the ocean and hope to start offering a paddle-board yoga class in the not too distant future. I enjoy sharing my practice and helping others to create a healthier lifestyle through good nutrition, yoga and exercise. I received my certificate for the 200 hour YTT training in February 2018 at Bend Yoga in Milford and look forward to sharing and learning from others.

Sunday Morning Gentle Flow Yoga: This morning practice is perfect for anyone looking to begin their day connecting breath and movement in a mindful way to help soften tight muscles, ease joint pain, connect the body and mind at a peaceful slower pace. A perfect bridge between moving in flow and staying stationary.

This class is appropriate for beginners or anyone working with injury, limited mobility, or simply prefer a gentler approach to yoga. Bring a Mat and Towel/Small Blanket.
